Executes a stored procedure in the database.

Required Parameters

  • driver: The JDBC driver class name in the Java version or the ADO.NET provider name in the .NET version.
  • conn: The connection string or database URL.
  • sp: The name of the stored procedure.

Optional Parameters

  • user: The database username passed to initialize the JDBC connection object. This can also be set in the JDBC URL.
  • password: The database password passed to initialize the JDBC connection object. This can also be set in the JDBC URL.
  • dynamic: The type of stored procedure. True if this is a dynamic stored procedure. The default value is ‘false’.
  • commandtimeout: CommandTimeout, in seconds, for the operation to complete. Zero (0) means no timeout. This attribute defaults to 60. The default value is ‘60’.
  • inparam:*: Stored procedure input parameters with a value other than null.
  • outparams: Enter stored procedure output parameters, separated by commas.
  • paramtype:*: The data type of a specified data column.
  • paramsize:*: The data type of a specified data column.
  • nullparams: Enter stored procedure parameters with a null value, separated by commas.
  • pushreturn: Stored procedures can have output parameters and return values which are pushed at the end. You can choose not to see this output. The allowed values are ‘TRUE, FALSE’. The default value is ‘TRUE’.
  • hasreturnvalue: Whether this stored procedure returns a value. The allowed values are ‘FALSE, TRUE’. The default value is ‘FALSE’.
  • fromrow: Number of rows to skip from start. The default value is ‘0’.
  • maxrows: Maximum number of rows to return from the database. Set to -1 to get all results. The default value is ‘-1’.

Output Attributes

  • db:*: Output varies based upon the stored procedure.
  • sp:isresultitem: Output was the result of a return value from the procedure or function.
